The Lore of Medusa Print

Sale Price:$5.00 Original Price:$15.00
sale

Original 8.5” x 11” matte art print on 100% recycled material for Endometriosis awareness.

Legend has it that Medusa was punished for her beauty by having her hair turned into snakes. Instead of giving into her affliction, she instead used it to her advantage to ward off dangerous threats. I think many people living with endometriosis can relate to Medusa’s story: endometriosis can quite literally feel like one’s body is being constricted by snakes, yet we often confront this pain every day with the same bravery and perseverance as Medusa did.

Featured in the Making the Invisible Visible: Living with Endometriosis exhibit that ran in March 2023.
